Vecoplan exhibits shredders for timber processors at Xylexpo
At Xylexpo, the international trade fair for woodworking technology and components for the furniture industry (from 8th to 12th May, Milan), Vecoplan will be exhibiting systems which will enable cabinet makers, joiners and carpenters to reliably process waste timber.Amongst others these include the VAZ range. The durable and robust single-shaft shredders are fitted with energy-efficient drives.Wood processors benefit from low operating costs.
Vecoplan will be presenting the extremely compact VAZ 1100 XL on Stand M27 in Hall 2P. Timber-processing companies can feed in the collected waste timber directly and without metering. The hydraulic-powered slide feeds this quickly and easily into the shredding mechanism. As the rotor turns particularly slowly, it is quiet and produces little dust during vertical feeding. The VAZ 1100 XL has a rotor diameter of 370 millimetres, a material outlet of 1,075 millimetres and a height of 1,100 millimetres.
Vecoplan will also be exhibiting a drum chipper from the VTH 85 range on its stand. This wood chipper is distinguished by its enormous throughput. The machine is stationary with a horizontal feed unit. It is designed with a rapidly rotating chipper knife rotor, which chops up short or long timber waste, which is free from foreign bodies, from the blanking and wood-processing industry to form defined and uniform wood chips.
