Hardly anyone had expected the effects of Covid-19 before the outbreak of the pandemic - neither a producer of refuse derived fuels from Slovakia nor a recycling company from Estonia. Both had ordered shredders from Vecoplan. The shredders were delivered on time. But then there came the Corona-related entry restrictions. The service department under the leadership of Jochen Pfeil quickly developed a concept for online commissioning and offered it to the customers - with success and potential for the future.
