The International Wood Fair in Carinthia, Austria, held from 28 to 31 August, will be giving industry visitors an overview of the entire value chain, from the forest to solid wood. At its Stand D02 in Hall HA01, Vecoplan will put the focus on solutions for sawmills, forestry and renewable energy production from sources such as biomass. One example is a special chain conveyor: the VKS series combines the transport advantages of a chain conveyor after shredding with the effects of a screw. This solution, which takes up very little space, can dispose of shredded bulk material and continuously remove it from storage. It uses only one drive. At its 35-square-metre corner stand the engineering company will present this chain conveyor and screw combination under an acrylic cover, allowing visitors to see inside the machine.
Vecoplan’s experts will be on hand at the International Wood Fair to answer questions about the company’s smart solutions for shredding, separating and storage. The focus will be on solutions for sawmills and producers of biomass.
