With a rotor length of 2.50 metres, the VAZ 2500 on show at Ecomondo makes an impression that goes well beyond its physical presence. "Our VAZ 2500 is one of our most versatile shredders," explains Daniel Wienand, Head of Sales Europe at Vecoplan. "The HiTorc direct drive delivers maximum torque with minimal energy consumption and wear. At the same time, the automatically self-adjusting counter-knife makes manual adjustment of the cutting gap unnecessary. It readjusts itself automatically, ensuring consistently precise results." The VAZ 2500 is the largest variant in the VAZ series. It reliably handles a broad range of materials, from plastics and packaging to household and commercial waste, paper and composite materials. Thanks to configuration options such as different rotor designs, screen variants and drive systems, the machine can be tailored to specific requirements. This enables it to achieve a homogeneous output with minimal fine dust content, even when processing challenging materials.
VEZ 3300 e-mobil: The First Mobile Shredder
Vecoplan is also showcasing the VEZ 3300 e-mobil, the company’s first mobile alternative fuel shredder. The VEZ 3300 e-mobil is deployed directly at the site where the material is generated, eliminating the need for time-consuming foundation work. Thanks to its “plug-and-play” design, it is ready for use quickly and achieves a throughput of up to 80 tonnes per hour. The VEZ 3300 e-mobil is also primarily used where a particularly wide variety of materials are processed, for example in the production of substitute fuels from household and commercial waste, in waste wood shredding and in the biomass sector. The integrated crawler unit ensures reliable mobility even on uneven terrain, while the foldable conveyor belt makes the machine compact and easy to transport. Like the VAZ 2500, the VEZ 3300 e-mobil is also available with technological highlights such as the automatically adjustable counter-knife.
