“Ecomondo 2023 was a complete success for us,” reports Roberto Zugliani, Area Sales Manager of the Italian subsidiary Vecoplan Italy. “We welcomed lots of visitors to our stand – and many of them were potential customers who discussed their specific needs with us.” Around two years ago, Vecoplan AG set up its own operating facility in Italy, further expanding its presence in the country – and the leading trade fair Ecomondo in Rimini was the perfect platform for Vecoplan Italy to introduce itself personally to Italian customers. “The market now knows who to contact – and the companies trust us to provide them with the best possible support,” adds Service Manager Simone Soriani. In addition to establishing an independent sales office, Vecoplan has also significantly expanded its Italian subsidiary’s service division, with reliable local support added to the company’s digital services. The spare parts supply for the Italian customer base was also systematically expanded.
Ecomondo visitors were especially interested in the VEZ 2500-TV, which Vecoplan showcased at its trade fair stand. This highly efficient pre-shredder processes a wide variety of input materials, such as production and sorting residues, household and commercial waste, and packaging into alternative fuels for cement and power plants. The VEZ-TV is equipped with the energy-efficient and highly functional HiTorc direct drive to handle these materials. The single-shaft shredder housing is a robust design with optimum machine geometry. It forms the basis for efficient and trouble-free operation, with consistently high output quality. Several variations of replaceable screen linings are available – and the machine is easily accessible through a large maintenance door and a hydraulic bottom flap. Technicians can remove impurities ergonomically and safely.
To maximise the efficiency of the VEZ-TV and other Vecoplan systems, the machine manufacturer equips them with the optional Vecoplan Smart Center (VSC) digitalisation concept. The enthusiastic visitors discovered first-hand what the concept can achieve – live at interactive tablet stations: The integrated and intuitive VSC.control operating panel serves as a communication medium for the cutting-edge control of the machine and direct communication with Vecoplan. The machine is networked with the help of VSC.connect. Users can access additional services online, such as Remote Service, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and even a media database.
