VEZ 2500 TT - RDF shredder

22 tonnes of pure shredding power

As a re shredder, the VEZ 2500 T/TT is tough. The machine housing is a thick-walled, ribbed construction with optimal functional machine geometry for powerful and trouble-free operation with a maximum service life. The high performance cutting unit consists of a large cylindrical solid steel rotor and two solid counter-knives with double the number of cuts per rotation for maximum throughput and a very homogeneous output grain. The HiTorc drive and the patented W-Rotor are systems developed by Vecoplan. We can therefore implement unique solutions for you in reprocessing alternative fuel, providing you with a clear competitive edge.

Materials

Domestic waste

Residual waste is optimally handled by shredding it in mechanical-biological waste treatment plants (MBT) and separating the various recyclable materials from each other. Another use of residual waste is thermal utilisation in a waste incineration plant. The heat released is used both to generate electricity and to provide heat.

Domestic waste

Typical residual waste from households offers little potential for material recycling. However, in the cement industry, the high-calorific fractions from the waste can be used as an alternative fuel. RDF manufacturers filter out these fractions by shredding and separating them.

Textiles & Non-woven material

Textiles or woven materials made from natural materials such as wool, cotton or synthetic & blended fabrics are processed into fibres in unique processes. For impurities such as buttons, zippers, etc., reliable separation technology is used in the plant.

Lightweight packaging

Increasing the recycling rate of packaging with the aim of recycling more valuable materials than before is a key issue in the circular economy. In order to efficiently recycle the packaging collected in bags, this waste must be continuously and reliably sorted.

Bulky Waste – Preparation for Alternative Fuels & Recycling

Largely homogeneous RDFs with good combustion and low pollutant properties can be produced, even from bulky waste.

Bulky Waste – Domestic & Industrial Waste Streams

Bulky waste chiefly includes discarded furniture, mattresses, wallpaper remnants and old carpets. Nowadays, most bulky waste can be recycled for materials and energy.

Industrial Waste for Alternative Fuels – Processing & Recycling Solutions

The non-recyclable materials from waste generated in industry and commerce can be processed into RDFs and used in power plants or the cement industry.

Paper industry waste

Braids, spits, bears or fibre residues are the recyclable residues in paper recycling. The technical jargon under the collective term: pulper waste. As a leading specialist for shredding technology, we know what is important in this application. Pulper waste is diverse. The plastic it contains can be used thermally. The metal wires but also existing non-ferrous metal can be reused as recycling material.

Industrial Waste – Domestic & Commercial Waste Streams

Commercial municipal waste (also abbreviated to commercial waste) is municipal waste from sources other than private households, in particular commercial and industrial waste as well as waste from private and public institutions. This waste is similar to waste from private households due to its nature or composition and must be disposed of in the same way.

However, commercial municipal waste also includes other production-specific waste from other sources, such as workshop waste, cleaning rags containing mineral oil, paint buckets or non-infectious waste, leather waste, metal waste, including shavings from metalworking and metal processing.

Waste paper industry

Both the cement industry and brick manufacturers increasingly rely on RDFs for their production. Waste from paper production can be used as an alternative fuel.

Used tyres

Rubber is a versatile material due to its properties. The best known and largest product in terms of volume is the tyre. In addition to thermal recycling as substitute fuel, for example in cement plants, used tyres can also be recycled, e.g. the granulate obtained can be used for a wide variety of floor coverings.

Rubber and rubber residues

Natural rubber is the basis of all rubber products and is a valuable natural raw material, so the aim here is to achieve the highest possible recycling rate through material recovery. However, the parts that cannot be further processed can still be used as an adequate fuel in cement production.

Sorting residues

In sorting plants for light packaging (LVP), the packaging items pass through various packaging items pass through various stations, at each of which a specific fraction of the material is sorted out of the material flow. Pressed into bales, the individual material fractions are then sent for recycling. Waste designation Sorting residues: Sorting residues from facilities for sorting lightweight packaging, so-called DSD sorting residues. These can be processed into alternative fuels in substitute fuel processing plants.

Waste wood, used wood

Wood waste or even old pallets can be used as a renewable raw material for energy production. Effective processing is essential to produce a waste-based RDF.

Biomass for Alternative Fuels – Preparation & Processing Solutions

Residual materials are chiefly used as solid biogenic fuels – in other words, biomass that is hardly suitable for purposes other than incineration. For example, these materials include forest and industrial residual wood, waste wood, garden and park waste and straw.
