Strengthening our positions together – cutting-edge technology with local support

Vecoplan AG continues to expand its global network – the leading international supplier of shredding and processing technology has now gained a renowned sales partner for New Zealand – the Skookum company. Skookum has many years of successful experience operating in the timber, biofuel and bulk goods industries, and is regarded as a reliable partner, providing services from feasibility studies to sales aftercare.

"We've been following Vecoplan's development for many years now. We recognise the company as both a global market leader and one of the few suppliers offering a complete range of processing technologies," explains Jonathan McLachlan, Skookum's Managing Director. "We see significant potential in the bioenergy and recycling industries. By working together, we can ensure that these technologies are well represented and supported in New Zealand."

The New Zealand markets are currently undergoing the same transformation that the European markets experienced 15 to 20 years ago. Recycling, renewable energies and alternative fuels are becoming increasingly important. The partnership offers the ideal conditions for this environment. Thanks to Skookum's strong position in wood processing, biofuels and recycling, the full range of Vecoplan products can be used to great effect – from shredding systems and conveyor technology to complete processing lines.

The two companies will work closely together to further develop the partnership. This development will include investment in marketing and market development, providing customer information and feedback to optimise offers and delivering comprehensive training programmes for teams. It will also involve regular communication and the planning of meetings between the two companies. The joint aim is to sustainably establish and further expand the Vecoplan brand in New Zealand.

"Our customers not only need confidence in the technology, but also comprehensive support," emphasises Jonathan McLachlan. "Our partnership with Vecoplan will guarantee them modern machines and systems, as well as a strong team that looks after its customers."
With Skookum as its official sales partner, Vecoplan AG is strengthening its presence in New Zealand, tapping into new potential in a dynamic growth region and setting another milestone on its road to global internationalisation.
