Processing (mechanical)

Mixed or pre-sorted industrial and commercial waste contains raw materials that are made available again via mechanical processing and fed into the materials cycle. In the case of waste wood, ferrous & non-ferrous metals are removed, homogenised for further use and freed from impurities – so the material can then be used e.g. as fuel for combined heat and power plants (CHP).
