Vecoplan Polska is located in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, which is the largest city in terms of area and the most populous in the country with over 1.75 million inhabitants. As one of the most important transport, economic and commercial centers in Central and Eastern Europe, Warsaw enjoys great political and cultural importance. The city is home to numerous institutions, universities, theaters, museums and architectural monuments. A special sight is Warsaw's Old Town (Stare Miasto), listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. In its center is the market square with pastel-coloured houses and many cafés. The statue of the Warsaw Mermaid in the center of the square is the symbol of the city.
