Two-stage shredding
Two-stage comminution is a process consisting of two successive comminution stages. First, in the pre-shredding stage, the feedstock is efficiently shredded and prepared for further processing steps, such as sorting and separation. In the secondary shredding, the second shredding step, the now purer material is brought to the necessary final particle size. In the context of waste and raw material processing, two-stage size reduction plays an important role.
