Requirements

The customer was looking for a way to comminute returned snus and chewing tobacco material. This material consists in particular of returned items of expired tobacco from shops or defective production items. A particular challenge is the consistency of the material which easily
clogs the blade pockets, greatly reducing the throughput. In addition,
the tobacco tins were also to be comminuted at the same time.

Solution

After extensive test series in the in-house technology center, Vecoplan developed an optimal concept in dialog with the customer. A suitable solution was found with the VAZ 1300 S shredder.

Result

With the help of the energy-efficient shredding solution, the customer receives efficiently shredded tobacco material, ready for disposal.
