NEW APPROACHES IN MOBILE SHREDDING

Case Terex EN

When developing the mobile shredder TDS V20, the company Terex® Environmental Equipment required an implementable shredding solution for various input materials (waste wood, biomass, domestic and commercial waste, plastics).

Robust, powerful technology was sought with high through put and high availability for a shredder running at medium speed. On the basis of experience and the leading technology, ultimately a solution from the shredding specialist Vecoplan was chosen.

TASKS OF VECOPLAN®

First the shredder had to be adjusted to the dimensions specified by Terex®. Vecoplan® was also able to provide support in tuning the drive and the controller (not from Vecoplan®). Further services:

• Specialist consulting concerning all aspects related to shredding
• Detailed information on the shredder
• Conducting a pilot project
