OPTIMALLY ADAPTED WOOD WASTE REPROCESSING

Case Baetsen EN

In 2007, Vecoplan® designed a system that efficiently shreds and separates large quantities of wood waste and reliably removes extraneous materials. Following its good experiences with Vecoplan®, in 2012 Baetsen replaced its pre-shredder from a competitor with the Vecoplan® model VVZ 310 Hurricane. The complete switchover to Vecoplan® shredding technology increased throughput by 25 percent.

ONE STRONG PARTNERSHIP

The complete system was planned, implemented and upgraded by Vecoplan®. Careful startup management ensured the smooth commissioning and perfor- mance optimisation of the production plant.

THE PROJECT REQUIRED:

  • Overall planning and project management
  • Supply of the complete machine technology (apart from ferrous and non-ferrous separation)
  • Assembly and commissioning
  • Support in the approval procedures
  • Subsequent switchover to the Vecoplan® “Hurricane“ pre-shredderTHE PROJECT REQUIRED:

CASE COMPONENTS

    VECOPLAN® VVZ 310 HURRICANE

    • Two HiTorc® drives (each 155 kW) increase energy efficiency
    • Quiet machine running and high throughput (60 to 65 tonnes/hour) thanks to the solid steel rotor
    • Suitable for difficult material and material containing extraneous materials
    • Homogeneous grain structure thanks to adapted tool geometry
    • Reliable detection and processing of extraneous materials increases relibility

  • Case Baetsen EN

    LARGE DISK SCREEN

    • Ideal for separating overlengths of abrasive material (wood waste, domestic and commercial waste)
    • Consists of a solid profile steel construction to hold the screen shafts, bearings and drive elements
    • Reliable removal of extraneous materials
    • Suitable for separating cuts of 50 mm to 300 mm

CUSTOMER BENEFIT

INCREASED CUSTOMER BENEFITS

Following very good experiences with Vecoplan® technology, Baetsen subsequently decided to replace its existing pre-shredder from a competitor with the VVZ 310 Hurricane, and therefore to switch its entire shredding technology to Vecoplan®. The optimisation process was quick, problem-free and increased productivity without any delays.
