Tasks
- Elaboration of supporting structures in cooperation with application engineering and project management
- Support of the divisions in the preparation and assessment of site measurements
- Elaboration of preliminary structural analyses in the bidding phase
- Preparation of verifiable static calculations
- Support of product development by participating in the development of special solutions and static calculations
- Supervision of strength tests while product development
- Supporting the purchasing department in the selection of suppliers and by specifying target prices
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in civil engineering, structural engineer or a comparable education
- Relevant professional experience in plant construction
- Experience in structural design, statics and construction of steel buildings and steel structures
- Experience in an international working environment as well as project experience
- Confident handling of the applicable standards and guidelines for structural standards and guidelines
- Confident handling of RSTAB, Advanced Steel, AutoCad as well as MS Office
- ERP experience and IT affinity
- Good knowledge of English
